Succeeded in Recording "International
Space Station"
We succeeded in recording "International Space Station(ISS)" with the 1 meter Telescope.
Date of Recording : Aug. 30, 2000, 19:18(JST) during 3 minuties
and 30 seconds
At that time, ISS was composed of three modules, "Zarya", "Unity" and "Zvezda".
"ProgressM", transporter module launched by Russia, was docked.
The length of ISS + ProgressM was about 44 meters with solar cells whose widest one was about 30 meters. The weight was 67 tons.
Movies
We made two types of movie files : MPEG and Real Media. The image quality of MPEG is better than that of Real Media, but the file size is very large. Depending on your network circumstances, select proper type of movies.
